Invisible braces

Invisible braces

Invisible braces are dental braces which are fixed to the inside surface of the teeth. This is the reason these braces are also known as lingual braces and as they are fixed to the back side of the teeth and cannot be seen by others, they are called invisible braces.

Invisible braces were introduced because traditional braces do not look very good. The traditional braces can have a negative impact on the personality of the person wearing them. However, having straight and aligned teeth is vital as well. So what can an individual do who wants to straighten his or her teeth without looking awkward? The answer is to wear invisible braces. Invisible braces effectively straighten and align the teeth without anyone even noticing that you are wearing braces.

The technique used in the application of invisible braces is different from traditional braces and this is the reason dental experts and orthodontists used to face difficulties achieving the desired result with them. Due to the popularity of invisible braces, most of the problems associated with them were solved by orthodontists. Among adult patients, invisible braces are growing incredibly popular because they are absolutely invisible.

The fitting of invisible braces is very simple and painless. It does not involve any surgical operation or procedure. Usually the fitting involves two visits. First, a model of the teeth of the patient is created by taking an impression of the teeth. Based on the model of the teeth, the invisible braces are made for the patient. Then, the teeth are cleaned and the invisible braces are fitted.
